Since childhood, I’ve always had a strong urge to create no matter the medium. This need for creativity led me to obtaining a B.F.A from the University of Louisiana in Monroe, Louisiana. Being an artist was something that chose me. I’m always looking for new mediums to try and ways to enhance my skills and grow.
My paintings are nearly a year and a half in the works. Oil paint is a relatively new medium for me as I didn’t experience it until the winter of 2009. I was immediately hooked and fell in love with it. I try to start at least one new work a month, but sometimes I’m lucky and get more in.
